At Hillel Day School we believe all children can learn at high levels. We offer a dynamic and vigorous Judaic and General Studies program where students learn to love learning, to pursue their curiosity, and to persevere as they grow. Our students develop the ability to think critically and creatively and become articulate communicators who collaborate together to solve problems. All the while, they explore concepts, take risks, and become strong community members.
Each member of the Hillel team values children as individuals who develop at their own pace and learn in their own way. With this in mind, our staff creates and delivers a curriculum that allows each child, from the youngest to the oldest, to grow with a sense of achievement and self-confidence. We offer children multiple avenues through which they learn and express their understanding, creativity, and imagination.
Community is fundamental at Hillel Day School. Together, as a professional learning community, we approach education as a shared endeavor among parents, students, and teachers to best meet the needs of each child.
Through a dual curriculum that accelerates their development, Hillel students develop a strong sense of self. They emerge from their years of study as creative learners who can advocate for themselves, with an identity that is resilient, deeply Jewish and confidently American. Throughout their education at Hillel, students learn the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing global environment, and they become mensches guided by their Jewish tradition and values.
